*Notice to public: Per City Ordinance 1582 & 1583 dated April 14, 2020: Any items such as decorative benches, plastic fences, solar lights or other miscellaneous toys/dolls cannot be placed at gravesites. Planting of trees or bushes is also prohibited as the roots may cause damage to gravestones over time. Any items that interfere with our staff maintaining the property are subject to removal.
Concrete, marble or stone (store bought) benches are allowed.
The City of Jacksonville, Texas reserves the right at the end of (6) months from the date of burial to remove the headboard or metal marker and place a concrete marker bearing the name of the grave setting flush with the ground.
