Water Bill Payments

The City of Jacksonville has made it easy to pay your water bill by offering you four different ways to pay. You have the option of paying online, by mail, by drop box, or in person. The Water Billing Department is where you go to sign up for new service and pay for water and sewer taps.

Water Utility Billing

Paying Online

  • You must have your water bill to use the online payment software.
  • Must be made before 5 p.m. on the 15th to ensure the 10% penalty is not placed on your account.
  • Payment must be made by 5 p.m. on the 25th to ensure there is no interruption in water service.
  • Make the payment online.

By Mail

  • The Payment must be received by the 15th of the month to ensure the 10% penalty is not placed on the account.
  • Payment must be received by the 25th to ensure water service is not interrupted.
  • Please include your account number on the payment.
  • Do not send cash through the mail.

Drop Box

  • For your convenience the city has a drop box located outside the Customer Service Center off of Ragsdale Street.
  • Payments must be received by 5 p.m. on the 15th to ensure a 10% penalty will not be added to the account.
  • Payments must be received by 5 p.m. on the 25th to ensure no interruption in water service.
  • Please include your account number on the payment.
  • Do not place cash in the drop box.

Payment in Person

  • The Customer Service Center is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
  • The Customer Service Center is located at 215 E Rusk Street.
  • Please be prepared to stand in line if you are paying on the due date or the cut off date.
  • If you do not have your water bill you will be required to fill out a payment slip.
  • Please don't talk on your cell phone while talking to the cashiers.
